What to Expect in a Healing Session

Both children and adults can benefit from healing sessions.  Sessions are completely confidential.  Each session is unique, and modalities are tailored to provide the most benefit. Usually sessions last about an hour. You will be asked to provide pertinent demographic and medical information.

You may have a specific healing need or you may want to experience a more balanced energy field. At the beginning of the session you will be asked to state your intention - a specific healing need, a more balanced energy field, a stress-relieving interlude, etc. - and you will be assured of the role of the practitioner.

Most clients lie on a massage table.  If you are unable to lie on the table the healing session can be conducted while you are in a seated position. You will be asked to remove your shoes and jewelry. Quiet relaxing music or sounds will allow you to enter a meditative state if you desire. Again, Anna's concern is for your total comfort and wellbeing.

You may have tuning forks placed on and around your body. You may feel hands on or around your body. In addition, crystals or colored fabric may be used. You may hear the sound of tuning forks or vocal tones or feel vibration. You might sense shifts in your energy field. Or you may not feel anything directly. Frequently clients fall asleep or drift into a meditative state or dream state, then awake refreshed and energized.

At the end of your session, you will be asked for feedback and to make sure you are grounded and able to continue with the day's activities. Referrals or recommendations concerning your situation may be made as appropriate. For example, it is a good idea to drink a lot of water after any energy work.
